Chris Hilgenfeld has been with Davis Grimm Payne & Marra since 2008 and became a partner at the firm in 2012. He graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School and has practiced labor and employment law since 2001. Mr. Hilgenfeld focuses on all areas of public and private sector labor and employment law. He has successfully defended clients in administrative, state and federal courts in Washington, Oregon, California, Texas, Illinois and North Carolina against claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, wrongful discharge, family and medical leave laws and other related issues. He has also focused his practice on labor relations matters, including representing clients in NLRB and PERC proceedings, collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, contract administration, union organizing campaigns and strike preparations. As part of his proactive strategy, he provides management training sessions to help clients take forward-looking measures to limit potential exposure while maintaining a productive workforce.
Chris Hilgenfeld is a member of the state bar associations in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. He has been recognized by the magazine Law and Politics as a “rising star” among outstanding lawyers in the State of Washington. He strives to combine his experience and knowledge in the area of labor and employment law to find practical solutions to his client’s legal problems.
